Interactive workshops strengthen AICCRA researchers and partners’ capacity for designing and steering responsible scaling pathways
Between 2024 and 2025, Accelerating Impacts of CGIAR Climate Research for Africa (AICCRA) Scaling Week workshops were conducted across six country clusters (Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Senegal, and Zambia), strengthening the capacity of 200 researchers, government officials, and development- and private-sector partners in designing and guiding responsible scaling pathways for climate-smart agriculture (CSA) and climate information services (CIS) bundles. Participants applied the AICCRA multi-level scaling framework to refine scaling visions, identify scaling barriers and enabling conditions, and integrate gender and equity considerations into innovation roadmaps and investment planning processes.
