Gender Transformative Approach (GTA) design: Literature review

The gender, agriculture, and natural resource management trajectory is transitioning into seeking transformative change (McDougall et al. 2021) through gender transformative approaches (GTAs). We need to understand how to define and design GTAs in order to produce more evidence, by their implementation, on the role of GTAs. This document focuses on the GTA design phase and has seven sections: (1) elements of definitions, (2) core characteristics of GTAs, (3) GTA objectives, (4) GTA success factors, (5) challenges, and (6) case studies.
