Food heroes game: Qualitative assessment guide for facilitators and field personnel

The Qualitative Assessment Guide accompanies the Food Heroes Game, an open educational resource product associated with a broader Food Heroes programme series that features 13 Agroecology principles, 12 Multifunctional Landscape themes and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The game helps players build food systems knowledge and nutrition awareness through fun, interactive challenges that inspire positive behaviour change. The qualitative assessment guide provides game facilitators with a tested and proven reflection and documentation method that allows capturing changes in beliefs, practices, and practices among players. The game was co-developed with the Multifunctional Schools Network in Kenya, established with CSHEP and DNRC in Kiambu, Kajiado, and Makueni Counties, under the CGIAR Science Program on Multifunctional Landscapes, led by the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, in collaboration with The Grass Company and fsysgame.org
