Case Study
Alliance science strengthens climate resilience measurement across pastoral livelihood and livestock programs in East, West, and Southern Africa
Alliance-led research strengthened climate resilience measurement systems for major development programs in Ethiopia and across sub-Saharan Africa between 2020–2025, improving how resilience outcomes are designed, monitored, and evaluated in fragile, climate-vulnerable contexts. Through technical frameworks, mixed-methods evaluation approaches, and capacity building, the work equipped governments and development partners with more robust, policy-relevant methodologies and tools for adapting investments and climate programming.
