Aligning climate, biodiversity and land action through agri-food systems transformation

This brief synthesises the outcomes of the dialogue workshop "Aligning Climate, Biodiversity and Land Action Through Agri-Food Systems Transformation", held in Bonn on 9 June 2026 on the sidelines of UNFCCC SB64. Co-organised by GIZ, WWF, Climate Focus and the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, the workshop examined how agri-food systems can serve as a lever for aligning NDCs, NBSAPs and LDN targets across the three Rio Conventions. It presents key findings on financing, institutional coordination and monitoring gaps, and puts forward recommendations for the 2026 Triple COP Year.
