Accelerate for Impact Platform (A4IP) 2025 year in review: Transforming innovation through ideation, development and deployment

Over the past year, the Accelerate for Impact Platform (A4IP) has continued to strengthen its role as a catalyst for bridging the gap between science and impact in agri-food systems. Through initiatives such as RAMP, national innovation consultations, strategic partnerships with governments, industry, investors, and development organizations, and the design of new venture-building and commercialization pathways, A4IP has worked to create an enabling environment where scientific innovation can thrive beyond the research stage. Equally important, A4IP has sought to foster a cultural shift—one that embraces entrepreneurship, collaboration, and user-centred innovation as complementary to scientific excellence. The growing interest from partners across the public and private sectors reinforces our conviction that research organizations have an increasingly important role to play in connecting science with markets and society.
