Las alianzas son un factor clave para cumplir satisfactoriamente con nuestra Estrategia 2020-2025.

La complejidad y alcance de los desafíos globales de la actualidad no nos permiten actuar solos. Solo a través de acciones colectivas integrales podemos generar resultados y producir un impacto a gran escala, en el nexo entre agricultura, medio ambiente y nutrición. 
Tomamos en consideración a organismos de la ONU, gobiernos locales y nacionales, empresas del sector privado, la academia, organizaciones de la sociedad civil, organismos multilaterales, instituciones financieras internacionales y empresas sociales y nuestro enfoque de alianza se basa en crear sinergias y aprovechar las singulares cualidades y capacidades de aquellos que comparten nuestra misión y pueden beneficiarse de nuestros conocimientos, innovaciones y tecnologías en sistemas alimentarios y más. 

A través de nuestras oficinas regionales en Europa, Asia, África y América, la Alianza colabora con instituciones regionales y nacionales. Juntos, identificamos y creamos en conjunto soluciones específicas por contexto que son significativas, duraderas y basadas en la demanda. 

Nuestro objetivo es actuar como una fuerza innovadora y catalítica para fortalecer, diversificar y desarrollar la capacidad de la Alianza en movilización recursos, ciencia e impacto.

La Alianza es el socio de preferencia para cientos de organizaciones en todo el mundo: mediante una serie de acuerdos de alianza y modelos de negocio, podemos crear valor agregado con actores clave, coinversionistas y clientes.
Entre nuestras alianzas clave encontramos: 

Organismos de la ONU. Por medio de alianzas a largo plazo con la ONU, brindamos información para la formulación de políticas de ámbito global hasta local, sobre la base de los hallazgos de nuestra investigación. 

Gobiernos nacionales. A través de nuestro trabajo con ministerios, instituciones de investigación y servicios de extensión y asesoría, alineamos nuestra investigación con las necesidades de los países y fomentamos la innovación en las principales áreas prioritarias. 

Empresas sociales y el sector privado. Nuestras alianzas con empresas innovadoras nos permiten desarrollar en conjunto soluciones que son rentables, sostenibles, de relevancia para el mercado y alineadas con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS)

Bancos e instituciones financieras regionales e internacionales. Promovemos nuevas alianzas con instituciones financieras para posicionar a la Alianza como un intermediario en la transferencia de conocimientos y socio ejecutor para movilizar de forma conjunta inversiones sostenibles.

Organizaciones de la sociedad civil (OCS). Estas abarcan organizaciones de desarrollo, organizaciones no gubernamentales locales, asociaciones de agricultores, organizaciones de pueblos indígenas y grupos de mujeres. Con ellas, nosotros impulsamos alianzas para crear conjuntamente soluciones innovadoras y fundamentadas en evidencia para mejorar la agricultura, empoderando así a los agricultores y las comunidades rurales.

Academia. Por medio de un enfoque bidireccional, integramos nuestros productos del conocimiento a los planes de estudio y recurrimos a nuestra capacidad de investigación para producir ciencia de vanguardia. 

CGIAR. Formamos parte de CGIAR, la alianza de investigación agraria más grande del mundo para para un futuro sin hambre y colaboramos estrechamente con otros centros CGIAR liderando esfuerzos en todo nuestro portafolio de proyectos.
