Oscar Estrada Vargas

Oscar is an agronomist engineer, graduated from the National University of Colombia, and a technologist in electronics from the University of Quindío. He works in the Digital Inclusion team at the Alliance Bioversity-CIAT.
He works as a data scientist in different projects in Latin America, and his area of expertise includes applying data science to develop Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms for analyzing and interpreting data from agriculture.
He has over 10 years of experience working in research and technology transfer in cereals and legumes in Colombia.
