The Alliance @ UN Climate Change Conference 2022 (UNFCCC COP27)

As part of the CGIAR, the Alliance has been working with countries and partners in the lead up towards COP27 activities. Join us from 6 to 18 November, in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt and virtually to advocate for more climate-friendly food systems.

About COP27

The 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27) will build on the outcomes of COP26 to deliver action on an array of issues critical to tackling the climate emergency – from urgently reducing greenhouse gas emissions, building resilience, and adapting to the inevitable impacts of climate change, to delivering on the commitments to finance climate action in developing countries.

This year, the COP27 is hosted by the Egyptian Presidency, which has established 11 thematic days following which events and activities at COP will be organized. You can find here the full list of thematic days, along with the COP27 Climate Action Calendar.
