The Alliance at SBSTTA-26
The Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA) is an open-ended intergovernmental scientific advisory body that provides the Conference of the Parties (COP), and its other subsidiary bodies, with timely advice relating to the implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity.
The twenty-sixth meeting (SBSTTA-26) is scheduled to take place from May 13th to 18th, 2024 – serving as a pivotal platform where experts will convene to review the advancements made in the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. Discussions will cover a range of topics including synthetic biology, modified organisms, biodiversity, and health.
Given our commitment to developing scientific solutions for preserving biodiversity, Alliance experts will be actively engaging in sessions, sharing knowledge on biodiversity conservation and promotion of sustainable practices.
