I am a scientist with 5 years of working experience in Nutrition, Food Security, Maternal and child health. I am enthusiastic, hardworking, a leader and a team player with an eye for detail, offering knowledge and critical thinking skills to help generate innovative ideas and solutions in everyday Food Security and Nutrition, WASH and Maternal Child Health. I have a Bachelors Degree in Human Nutrition from Makerere University and currently pursuing my masters in Public Health at Makerere University .
I have been working for the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT since 2021 as a Research Associate, Implementing a livelihood project titled, “Building Resilience to Enhance Food and Nutrition Security, Incomes and Health in Northern Uganda, (BRENU). It is under the Development Initiative for Northern Uganda (DINU), a government of Uganda programme funded by the European Union and supervised by the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM). The programme is being implemented in seven districts of Lango and Teso sub region of Northern Uganda. My responsibilities includes participating in District level project team meetings, train and supervise 2050 Community Development Supervisors and Community Development Volunteers to ensure nutrition activities are implemented as per plan. Collection of any needed data, Preparation and submission of clean data set from field data collected, Prepare quarterly, midterm and annual district technical reports on progress with regards to Alliance’s related activities and submit to the supervisor.
